 Actor Akshay Kumar's film 'Sooryavanshi' and Ranveer Singh's '83' OTT can turn towards the platform. Shibashish Sarkar, CEO of Reliance Entertainment has indicated something similar. Theaters closed in March are not open yet due to the lockdown implemented due to Corona virus in the country. While waiting for theaters to open, many films have caught the path of OTT.

 

 

In a special conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Shibashish Sarkar said, "We are fully ready to release films in theaters but there is no intention to stop these films even more." This means that we would not like to extend the release date beyond Diwali and Christmas. The first option is to release the film when theaters open and the audience returns.

 

He further said, "If the cinema halls do not open or the corona effect increases manifold .... and the audience does not come ... then in such a case he can catch the path of OTT. Because beyond this the release date of films cannot be extended. He also said that in some states or countries the film should be released in theaters while in some places it should be released digitally.
