The
choice of films by the young protagonist Nani is different from the beginning.
He started with 'Ashta Chamma' and reached the milestone of 25 films with 'V'
while watching the movie. It is no coincidence that Nani started her 25th film
under the same Mohanakrishna Indraganti direction as the film career with which
she started. Expectations on ‘V’ have risen as the villain has played a shadowy
role in it. In addition to this, another young protagonist Sudhir Babu's
playing a key role also aroused interest. The film, which is slated to hit
theaters this year, is set to hit theaters due to the Corona virus and
lockdown. And how is ‘V’ released as Amazon Prime platform? Did Nani impress in
the villainous shades of character? Story
behind the original ‘V’?
Story:
DCP
Aditya (Sudhirbabu) is a gutsy, stylish police officer. In a very short time,
he solved many cases and received the Police Gallantry Medal. Apoorva (Niveda Thomas) gets acquainted
with Aditya by saying 'your fan' while giving a party to all the fellow cops.
That acquaintance turns into a bit of love. The same night, Inspector Veera
Prasad was brutally murdered. The killer (Nani) leaves a clue to DCP Aditya. Not
only that, he also says he will commit four more murders. He starts killing
everyone just like he said. Why did those murders have to be done? What were
the circumstances that led to the killings? What did DCP Aditya do to catch the
killer in this order? What is the connection between Vishnu (Nani) and Saheba
(Aditi Rao Haidari)? You have to see ‘V’ to know!
How to:
Every
director in the film industry has a style. Some take mass commercials, while
others take family entertainers. Indraganthi Mohanakrishna is a unique style.
One picture he took does not look like another picture. This time, they went a
step further and chose the
action thriller Joner and took Nani and Sudhir Babu as the protagonists. A
series of murders in a city, the protagonist in the role of a police officer
cracking them has already come up with many films with this story. Whatever the
known story, the success of the film depends on how thrilling the story is.
Director Indraganthi has worked hard in this regard.
According to DCP Aditya Stamina Intro, the director started the film with a fight scene. After that, the inspector tried to slowly bring the murder into the story. The first half continues with scenes where the killer kills one person and DCP Aditya attempts to crack down on those murders. The challenge-throwing scenes between the DCP-killer are rival. However, the love scenes between Apoorva and Aditya in the middle seem a bit stretched. The scenes before the break are even more thrilling. The DCP escapes as entangled as the assassin.
The storyline slowed down a bit when it came to the second half. The assassin gives a clue that his name is Vishnu (Nani). Who is the real Vishnu? DCP Aditya starts efforts to find out why he is committing these murders. The director ignored one thing here. The director who portrayed Aditya as an intelligent and strong cop in the intro scenes ... if the killer gives clues but can't catch him? That suspicion is caused in the viewer. In addition to this, Vishnu flashback also goes on as a routine. The audience can imagine what happens after that. We have already seen in a few hundred films the circumstances that led to the assassination of Vishnu. There is nothing new in that. The director gave an unexpected twist in the climax. It would have been nice if the scenes had been written in a way that was even stronger and thrilling in the second half.
Who did it:
It
is natural for every hero to want to do the 25th film of his career in a
unique, different role. Nani chose this role as it suited her. Nani's
performance in the villainous shade is impressive. Dialog Diction, in
particular, gestures are newly tried. Nani's conversations with Getup Sreenu on
the train and another person on the bus and the variations on his face are
impressive. Sudhirbabu played the role of DCP Aditya. The scenes between Nani
and Sudhirbabu in the first half are competitive. Niveda Thomas, Aditirao
Haideri, Vennela Kishore, Tanikella Bharani etc. have acted according to their
range of roles.
The
songs given by Amit Trivedi are good. The songs ‘Vastunna .. Vachchestunna’ and
‘Manasu Mari’ are entertaining to listen to and watch on screen. Taman
background music is the strength of this film. The music took it to another
level, especially in the coming scenes between Nani and Sudhirbabu. PGVinda
Cinematography is good. Marthand K. Venkatesh better editing. Some scenes in
the second half had to be cut. Audiences are less interested in watching songs
on OTT platforms. Scissors to the item song before the climax will not make a
big difference in the storyline. The point chosen by director Mohanakrishna
Indraganti is nothing new. In the past many movies have come up with this kind
of story, articles. However, as much excitement as the first half.
