Nishabdham could've easily been so much more | Nishabdham Review | Movieoak

Nishabdham looked quite promising initially , but to be honest, a tad bit disappointed after watching the film the very fact that Anushka is deaf and dumb doesn't have much significance; it simply diversifies the script and challenges Anushka's acting abilities. There was always someone to effectively communicate with Anushka in signing and her disability didn't really make things different.

Nishabdham-Movie-Review

Anushka and Shalini grew up in an orphanage within the US , and yet, they will speak fluent Telugu and  Anjali simply doesn't pass as an Indian-American cop. Her narration was terrible and it simply doesn't tie the film together the way it's alleged to the actual fact that Anjali doesn't investigate Anushka's background.

Madhavan and Anushka had believable chemistry, but they fell loving too fast. Madhavan does an exquisite job, too, but his character's motivations are flat and one-dimensional

However, this film is worth watching just because Anushka Shetty does a splendid job. She plays a deaf-and-dumb artist and absolutely nailed the role! Her eyes are expressive: they speak cardinal languages. Anushka Shetty is well-known for selecting versatile scripts and doing a good sort of genres. One should appreciate her dedication towards the role: she spent two months mastering sign language so as to be ready to play her character.

Nishabdham could've easily been so much more. However, it's an honest film and one time watch
